Refund Policy

Bids on Bid Buddy are final and non-refundable, with limited exceptions described below.
1. Bids are final
When you place a bid on Bid Buddy, you are paying for ranked visibility on a time-boxed leaderboard. Because the bid amount determines your rank and the arena is a live competition, bids are final and non-refundable.
A bid never decreases and is not refunded if another user outbids you. Outbidding simply moves your listing higher on the board for the remaining duration of the arena.
2. No refunds for outbidding
If your listing is outbid, your paid bid remains on the board at the rank it earned. We do not refund the difference or issue credits because another participant placed a higher bid.
The competitive nature of the arena means rankings can change at any time during the open bidding window, and you accept this risk when placing a bid.
3. Exceptions
We will issue a refund in the following limited circumstances:
Duplicate or accidental charges for the same bid.
A listing is rejected or removed by moderation before it appears on the live board (e.g. broken link, impersonation, or illegal content identified during review).
A confirmed payment error or fraud on our end.
Where a refund is required by applicable consumer-protection law in your jurisdiction.
4. Moderation removals
If your listing is removed after it has appeared on the board for a violation of our Terms (such as impersonation, malware, or illegal content), the bid is forfeited and not refunded, as the removal is a result of your breach.
If a listing is removed in error by our team, we will refund the full bid amount.
5. How to request a refund
To request a refund under the exceptions above, contact us through the details listed on the Site within 14 days of the charge, including the listing name, date and the reason for your request.
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method via Stripe. Processing times depend on your bank or card issuer.
6. Chargebacks
We encourage you to contact us before initiating a chargeback. Chargebacks filed without prior contact may result in removal of the associated listing and suspension of future access to the Site.
7. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page.
