By accessing or using Bid Buddy (the “Site”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy and Refund policies. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

Bid Buddy is a 72-hour paid launch leaderboard where makers submit products and bid for ranked visibility. Each arena is time-boxed, grouped by date range, and archived permanently once it ends.

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a legally binding contract to submit a product or place a bid.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Site complies with all laws applicable in your jurisdiction, including any restrictions on online bidding or payments.

Submitting a product places your opening bid and creates a listing on the current arena. The minimum opening bid is $5.00 USD, or the minimum amount shown in the submission form, whichever is higher.

You must own or be authorised to represent the product, website and any logo you submit. You grant Bid Buddy a worldwide, royalty-free licence to display submitted content on the Site and in the permanent archive for the purposes of operating the arena.

Submissions are reviewed before they appear on the live board. We may reject or remove any listing for broken links, impersonation, illegal content, malware, or violation of these terms, without refund.

Bidding is open for the first 48 hours of each 72-hour arena. The final 24 hours is a locked showcase period in which ranks are frozen but clicks continue to count.

Rank is determined purely by bid amount — the highest bid holds #1. To outbid an existing listing you must beat its current bid by at least the bid increment (currently $1.00 USD).

Ties break in favour of whoever reached that amount first.

Bids are final. A bid never decreases and is not refunded if another user outbids you. Paying a higher bid simply moves your listing up the board.

All bids are charged in full at the time of placement through our payment provider (Stripe). A listing only appears on the board, or moves to a higher rank, after payment is confirmed.

Prices are in US dollars. Taxes, where applicable, are handled by the payment provider at checkout.

By placing a bid you authorise us to charge the displayed amount to your payment method. You are responsible for any charges, fees or taxes levied by your bank or card issuer.

Outbound clicks on each listing are tracked and displayed publicly on the arena board as a measure of attention, not as a ranking factor.

We reserve the right to filter or disregard clicks that appear automated, fraudulent, or otherwise inauthentic. Click counts are provided as a courtesy and are not guaranteed to be exact.

You agree not to: submit content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable; attempt to manipulate bids, clicks or rankings; scrape or overload the Site; or use the Site to transmit malware or harmful code.

Violation of these rules may result in immediate removal of listings, suspension of access, and forfeiture of any bids paid, without refund.

The Site is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, accurate click counts, or any particular level of traffic or visibility from a listing.

Rankings, click counts and arena outcomes are provided for informational purposes and may be affected by technical issues, moderation or third-party conduct beyond our control.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bid Buddy and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site or your participation in any arena.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the Site is limited to the amount you paid to us in the three months preceding the claim.

We may update these terms at any time. Changes take effect when posted on this page. Continued use of the Site after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
